I know nothing about the man, but I get the feeling that although people like to make fun of his television persona, the actual Guy Fieri is a decent person.

Of course, now that I’ve said this, someone will point out all the horrible things he’s done that I didn’t know about.

    He fried for our sins.

TIL Guy Fieri fed 5,000 fire evacuees a day during the 2017 Santa Rosa wildfires.

And Guy Fieri went up on the hill, and seeing the great crowd that had gathered, he said to his disciples, “Bring forth the burgers and the fries.” But they said to him, “We have only five burgers and two baskets of fries.”

Guy replied, “Have the people sit down.” Then he took the burgers and fries, looked up to the sky, and blessed them. Breaking the burgers and dividing the fries, he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people.

They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve baskets full of leftovers. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

He looks like he’d be a total douchebag, but actually super nice guy with a heart of gold.

I feel like we’ve wrapped back around to guys with that look generally being chill these days to be honest. That’s been my experience at least

Once that look was no longer “in style”, anyone who cared primarily about looking cool (more likely your fake, shallow, self-absorbed ones) went with another look.

Anyone who stuck with it at that point, especially when it became completely uncool, was still doing it because they personally liked it, accepting the judgement/ridicule. That’s pretty genuine commitment to something, which suggests they’re more of a genuine person in other areas of life too.
