Sure it’s just a joke, but it does feed into this distorted rhetoric that giving money to homeless people will just lead to the money being misused rather than survival, which is absurd.

27·3 days agoA super important nuclear structure related to calcium mobilization was only discovered a few years ago. It will take years before it ever appears in bachelor’s textbooks, let alone high school material. Cellular biology is far for complete, and biology as a whole is still completely filled with open questions.
We do suffer a lot with a lack of funding though. If your research isn’t immediately important for a medication, good luck working with a far from optimal budget.

Sure, if my goal was to entertain their proposed definition.
My goal was instead commenting that this might be a fun endeavor for some, but remind everybody else that might not be familiar with biological sciences that this isn’t actually a formal definition or a scientific claim that one species is or isn’t dominant.
