I think the issue is more that he wasnt involved. You tend to consent to a photo or video. The AI stuff is being done for money, not to remember, not really as an exploration of the artform…

I dont like using amazon but they’re often the cheapest for the things I need. Thats benefited me, but also disturbs me as you watch high street retailers die off. I tend to screengrab products so I can come back and compare prices later. Some of the sales prices are bogus, they’ll jack the price up a week before, reduce it again for the “sale” and put “35% off!!!” You’ve really got to keep on top of it and be vigilant.

Get this stuff on actual DVD or bluray. Put it all in archival boxes if you dont have the space.

And you’re right about green tech being exploited. Big Oil and co are so unkeen on us all having solar on our roof as we’d have a piece of the action. Most homes are also limited to 5kwh of export too here, and at something like 5p per kwh.

I’ve met so many. Before the Met scandal of rapes and sexual assaults I met a local cop who was in charge of patrolling the local hospital. He spent his entire time there trying to bed the nurses. Eventually he had to be moved as it caused some concerns from hospital bosses.

One of the lads I met a couple of years ago came across as really arrogant (not the same lad as my reply below). Then we saw his face in the local newspaper. He’d got upset at some girl at a house party and thrown a pint glass right into her face/eyes. Life changing injuries. 3 years prison sentence, probably due to be released soon. Girl is still cut to pieces.

I knew a lad like that over 20 years ago. He was a nightmare to work with (ie he didnt work). Bosses tried to follow procedure hoping to sack him, but before that could happen we heard he’d been stabbed in the heart. He’d tried to chat up some girl in a club …right as her boyfriend sat down next to her. The boyfriend, as we used to say, was a wrong-un. Gave the lad one warning, he’d told the bf to “fuck off” and got stabbed in the chest for his arrogance. Shockingly he survived. Proudly showed the women his scars thinking they found it “sexy”.
