So, ya know when you have a ton of media files, all the photos, videos, design files etc. and your computer turns into a maze, and you can’t find the damn exit? After smashing my head on the keyboard enough times attempting to find that one clip, I decided to go DIY and build something myself. That’s how WrangleBot was born.
WrangleBot is this open-source media asset management app I’ve been beating into shape for a while. I’ve been living off coffee and enthusiasm trying to make this baby work - and I am all out of coffee. The idea is to give you a hand managing your digital junkyard, so you can find, sort, and use your stuff easier.
The app’s about as tried-and-tested as I can make it, but I need some more real-world guinea pigs to add to our herd of 250. That’s where you guys come in. You can download and test it from wranglebot.io. Got an idea to improve it? Cool, I’m all ears. Not to mention, bugs can be not-so-cute sometimes. So, if you stumble upon any, hit me up in our Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/sNC4KT8x
Oh, and since it’s open-source, if you’re as crazy about coding as I am, feel free to jump in and contribute. It takes a village to raise an app, right?
I’m hoping WrangleBot can make your digital life a little less “where’s Waldo?”, a little more “oh, there he is!”
That’s it from my end folks, eager to hear your thoughts and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.

Happy Wrangling!

Anyway, this looks interesting regardless. There seems to be an offline mode, so I assume this is selfhostable? What’s the backend of AI here? And are both the bot and the AI part self-hostable?
