Hi guys. This is not going to be a long post and I will briefly explain why I didn’t like Lemmy and going straight back to Reddit.
- Lemmy is not a likable name.
- There are so much socialists/communists around, including Lemmy’s founders. Even the ‘subreddits’ called communities.
- Every app I tried is buggy.
- Lemmy world usually experiences connection problems.
- Content is not likable enough. I’m reading Reddit to relax, laugh and chill. Lemmy can’t provide that yet. Memes here are generally low effort.
That’s all and thanks anyway! Catch y’all later!

You’re not wrong, it’s the price we pay for federation.
Maybe we should push for a ‘merged communities’ function, where similar federated communities can join so you get one feed that contains all the posts.
Oh that’d be cool. Merge communities are federated communities. With distributed moderation. That would be really cool
Did some digging, merged communities are coming:

I would still be happy with that

I think part of the problem, at least as far as memes are concerned, there’s a few groups at critical mass and then there’s some smaller ones with higher quality content that don’t get the recognition.
I keep coming back to this, Subscribed is your only feed, you have to cultivate it into a palace!
