    Forgive my ignorance, what makes a burger ‘smash’?

      It’s the method for cooking the meat patty. A flat tool is used to press the meat thin, and the result tends to be crispy

        This method is great for making burgers at home. Because the patties are thin, you don’t need a high-powered stove, the cooking time is short, and you don’t make a lot of smoke.
