This is why I love a good transit system. I can do this every morning in the train during my commute (much easier than telling my autistic self to change the morning routine to include a new thing in it. Tried it several times and never turned out fine).

For me it’s a fight between saving time with car or being able to relax and read in public transit. Currently the time savings from a car beat the shit out of public transit, unfortunately.

      • I’m lucky, in theory by car it should take me 30 mins to get to work, but traffic and parking make it a 1 hour trip if I’m lucky. If I’m not, it’s 1.30h or more.

Train + bike is a 45 minutes trip every time so it’s a pretty easy choice.

For me it’s 45 minutes driving, around two hours by public transit (at best). Often the times I go to work and get off there’s no lines running
