While I love legit, informational arguments in general, there was recently a mean-spirited ‘HEXBEAR assault,’ attacking our sub-lemmy, that… I’m not sure what to do with, honestly.

That totally mean-spirited half-assed effort is currently perma-banned here, but I’m willing to talk it out, if you’re willing.

Btw, not sure if this is a side-note or what, but I’m proud to support Pales-people as well as the Jewish. Both Semitic peoples, I consider my friends & colleagues.

    What kind of mental gymnastics is that supposed to be? Obviously you are indeed in favor of genocide, as long as only Jewish people are the victims of it. Or what exactly do you think would happen to its Jewish citizens, if Israel were to “fall”, as you trivialize it?

      What makes you think I care about the lives of genocidal settlers for? There are no jews in the illegitimate settler-colony; those are all zionist settlers-- which is to say I hold them in the same disregard I hold Amerikan, British, Dutch, French, Spaniard, and German settlers. I pray that the Jews who recognize Israel as a genocidal blasphemy toting their name as a shield got the fuck outta there before shit popped off, but if they align with the settlers, adios and arrividerci, motherfucker.

      So as you can see from that recent diatribe, there is no rational debate, no reasoning, or even the faintest hint of willingness to be civil. There is just what you allow to pollute the site. Hamas got banned from Twitter and now rots Lemmy. It is up to you whether to allow it to continue, but do not make the mistake of thinking that attitude is a one-off, or won’t constantly try to get its digs in every chance it can if you do.
