    I’ve seen the non picard hands in this gif you posted right here but I didn’t realize until just now that the shot in the OP is also fake hands

      I didn’t even see that! I was just reminded of the other, more obvious shot. I might never be able to watch another movie again without being suspicious if the actors elbows are offscreen!
