I’m honestly surprised athletes from competing nations aren’t supplied with all the same uniform by the Olympic committee.

Well the rich countries need to spend their bribe money somehow.

I’m holding my breath for a competing organization to dethrone the IOC, those fuckers are almost as bad as FIFA.

But, then the nations leading the committee wouldn’t have advantages in materials science and analysis of fluid dynamics. The Olympics are aren’t about the spirit of human competition. It’s about which nation is better by count of medals.

There is something about the scientific competition to perform better but the nerds don’t get the medals so fuck it.

If they were really interested in fair competition, they’d have everyone compete in the nude as the greek Gods intended.

Yes, I saw the aesthetically pleasing dong, but why is no one talking about the most interesting part of the article?

a frictionless yarn that evolved from military uses, most notably in socks worn by infantry soldiers who do a lot of marching.

Where do I buy these socks???

They’re not exactly high tech, but my wool blend socks have treated my feet just fine through many hot and often wet miles of wear. They’re pretty frictionless inside my boot, they keep my feet from feeling wet even when soaked with sweat, and I don’t think I’ve gotten a single blister since I made the switch. And only because you asked “where do I buy?”, the Kirkland brand wool blend ones are my favorite.

Gotta love how they usually take more suggestive pictures of female athletes. This time the suits make the women flat as a surfboard, and the men less so lol.
