That’s great! And I think it’s encouraging to see any good news at all, from any state, as we slide further toward fascism. That probably sounds pessimistic, but I truly believe they cannot possibly fight all of us, in the ballot boxes, or in the streets…
Kansas of all places. Nice.
Kansas was also the state where they put abortion up for a referendum expecting people to vote to make it illegal and they did the opposite by a large margin.
Conservatives are less anti-abortion than their leadership would have you think. Especially the “no exceptions for anything no matter what” abortion bans that are happening.
Moderate conservatives really need to start stepping up and showing people they’re the majority of that side.
It’s not a political thing, it’s a small town thing. Tina can go three towns over and get an abortion no big deal, if she can’t then the town is stuck with an unwanted kid they either all gotta watch or simply watch die.
Cue the Republicans in Kansas targeting the court justices.
