Madeline Gail Kahn (née Wolfson; September 29, 1942 – December 3, 1999) was an American actress, comedian, and singer. She is known for comedic roles in films directed by Peter Bogdanovich and Mel Brooks, including What’s Up, Doc? All of them? An impressive feat. I tried to watch them all one time, having seen most of the good ones. Gave up after Yellowbeard. I don’t think there exists a worse movie with as many great people in it.
She was great in Paper Moon, which I need to watch again sometime. I’ve only seen part of Blazing Saddles because the DVD I got at the library was scratched all to hell and quit working.
For anyone else not in the know.
And if you don’t recognize her go watch some of those movies. She’s one of the comedy greats.
I’m bad with names, and her face didn’t hit right away, so I added the above to help others with the same issue.
I’ve personally seen

You know what, you got me. I can’t say i’ve seen Yellowbeard.
Yellowbeard is one of those movies with a lot of potential and two or three funny jokes.
Kahn was known for making her co-stars funnier.
