Still making my way through Phantom Liberty in Cyberpunk 2077. It’s really good, but I had already completed the base game and I find it difficult to engage/care about it, since I already know it won’t impact the endgame. I think. Unless it does? But then, I was happy with the ending I got. So yeah, something set post-ending would’ve had me more excited, I think.

Apart from that, spending some time reacquainting myself with my zoo in Planet Zoo. It’s been two years, so that’s a fun game to return to.

Finish? I never finish anything. But I stopped playing Ostriv. Too many rough edges and a bug made me stop completely.

Currently: Farthest Frontier: cool but still some rough edges.

    Plan? I never have plans.

Ongoing once or twice a week, still: Guild Wars 2 WvW

Mostly been playing Balatro, but I’ve now got a refurbished Steam Deck coming in a few days, so I’ll definitely be playing the Crash N. Sane Trilogy I got just because I know the Steam Deck will be able to better handle it than my desktop.

Somewhat regret the purchase now, but I’m definitely not gonna regret having a Steam Deck later, when it comes.

I am completely enamored with Inkbound right now. Its a turn-based tactical roguelite by the guys who made Monster Train. It has a similar feel to the combat from Marvels Midnight Suns, which I loved also. It just came out of earl access recently.

Oh and they took out all the microtransactions in the game during EA. People complained and they listened! So there are some mechanics that look like, for example, a season pass, but it’s free and automatic now. I think that’s pretty awesome.

Anyways, game is fun. Devs are moral. Works in linux. A++

Basically all Overwatch for a while for me. I group up with my kids and my brother which is a lot of fun!

As for upcoming games, I’m interested in trying Space Simulator if it ends up running on Linux.

I’ve been playing 2009scape intermittently over the last several months. It’s a open source recreation of RuneScape circa early-2009. It has a nifty flatpak that just works and a very friendly community.

Not much time to, but when I can steal away a few hours, I play Project Zomboid. Essentially the Sims meets The Walking Dead. No narrative, just looting and surviving. The learning curve is high, and death is inevitable no matter how skilled you may be. Amazing game.
