    You avoid the views and desires of the majority so your views can be forced on others.Like most revolutions the Afghan communist revolution was not the popular majority fighting the government. It starts with the GRU murdering the “elected” leader to force their boot on the people.

    The problem is historically you are not liberating anyone. You are merely changing who enslaves them to the communist party/state, and in some cases end up enslaving people to a greater degree.

    Those Afghanis were fighting for freedom from Soviet/ML murder and intolerance. Believe it or not some people like their way of life and don’t want other’s views shoved down their throat with a truncheon.
