  • That’s exactly the problem… there are thousands of games but nothing stands out the way Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon do on a Nintendo platform.

I still look from time to time on my Deck. I picked up Borderlands 2 the other day because it was free.

But what I usually see browsing are a bunch of games I can already play on other systems, plus porn games, anime games, and anime porn games.

There really isn’t one game that stands out on the Deck.

    Vampire Survivors?
macOS, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5

En Garde? PC Exclusive, decent game, but limited and a little boring if I’m being honest.

  • There are limits as to what runs well on the Deck and what does not run well.

When I got my Steam Deck I was asking around to see what the “must have” game is with the caveat that I already have a Switch, Xbox Series X and PS5. So what’s a must have game on the Deck that I can’t already play?

    . . .

The answer I got back was “Well, emulation, piracy, and streaming from the Xbox and PS5.”

There really isn’t a killer app on the Deck, and that’s fine. I bought mine to better explore the Steam ecosystem as I had no gaming PC at the time.

  • Oh, crap, it’s WEDNESDAY? ALREADY?

Blood Type #1 (Of 4) - Oni is wrapping up it’s other titles in the EC comics line and this might be the last one?

Cerebus In Hell Presents Narutobus Vs. Kosplay Kangaroo Court #1 - Feels like it’s been a few years since one of these…

DC Universe By Steve Ditko Omnibus HC - OK, this is expensive, $125, but here me out… Ditko did some amazing stuff for D.C. Hawk and Dove, the Creeper, Stalker, Shade the Changing Man… some of it, OK, maybe MORE than some of it, is completely bonkers, but worth checking out!

Death Of The Silver Surfer #1 (Of 5) - I never really cared for the Surfer as a character, but then I never really cared for Doctor Strange either and “Death of Doctor Strange” knocked it out of the park. I’ll at least LOOK at this one.

Falling In Love On The Path To Hell #8 - Was wondering when this would come back!

Future Is F****** #2 - Wow! Already? #1 JUST came out! Described as Transmetropolitan meets Trainspotting.

Geiger #15 - Fallout from the battle of two radioactive people!

Golden Rage Mother Knows Best #3 - More from “Golden Girls” meets “Hunger Games”.

Resurrection Man Quantum Karma #3 (Of 6) - Every time he dies, he comes back with new super powers.

Spider-Girl #1 - She was fun in Spider-Boy, teamed up with Bullseye of all people!

Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker Adaptation #5 (Of 5) - Final issue! Had to see how they salvage the train wreck of a movie!

Trinity Daughter Of Wonder Woman #1 (Of 6) - Trinity has been an absolute delight! First appeared in W.W. 800, as a backup in the current WW run, and those backups were collected as 2 specials with one new story each.

    Ultimate Black Panther #17 -
Ultimate X-Men #16 - TBH - the ultimate stuff all feels like it’s spinning its wheels. Considering dumping all of it.

Exceptional X-Men #10 - One of the few X-books worth reading is fast becoming one of the few X-books left!

Giant-Size Dark Phoenix Saga #1 - Following Giant Size X-Men #1 where Ms. Marvel got sent back in time to GSXM#1, now she gets sent back to the Dark Phoenix story.
