Yes I can read. NASA awarded $2,000,000,000 in contracts. How the money is appropriated not any concern, since Space X basically does two things, make rockets, launch them lol.
Lol, everyone said everything started declining after the 50s. You kinda just proved my point space exploration has ruined what should be the golden age of the United States. Taxing billionaires wont solve the problem. Most of their income comes from the government anyway. $2,000,000,000 goes straight into a corporate account owned by Elon from NASA. Bezos has a similar situation with Amazon. No one is saying to tax them. We’re just saying to defund them lol because they aren’t even earning their money. They get a blank credit card from the US government to launch rockets… Bezos is joining in now too. It’s amazing to me people don’t realize this is just the military industrial complex funding all of this.

If each rocket launch is 67 million dollars NASA provides funding for over 25 launches a year. That is an incredible amount of waste when those fall down. Waste of time, money effort, etc…
NASA is a waste of money itself, however $2,000,000 accounts for half of the budget of Space X. If each rocket launch is $67,000,000 and they do 50 a year that’s about 30 launches on the house.
I’d rather not pay anyone since life was better before Space X existed. You are forgetting Space X used to not exist and these contracts were not vital to our lives.
Feeding the starving is mutually exclusive especially when you can subsidize farmers. Farmers make a terrible wage it wouldn’t even be expensive to pay them off for free grain, cattle etc…
NASA is giving money to elon whether it is donated or not. He provides no service worth the cost. 600,000 people have internet versus the entire United States having free grain and hamburgers. For instance, data shows uber paid contractors $15,000,000,000 last year. Assuming food spend is about 10% of your monthly budget Elon would be able to cover the entire food bill of every Uber employee. If you scale that up to his entire company you most likely could pay off the entire industry on a yearly basis.
NASA spending is not.
Elon is in the military industrial complex. Yes, we need to defund the military industrial complex no one is disagreeing with you.
No one wants a rocket program. People are starving. $2,000,000,000 to Elon this past year.
It’s sustained by NASA. Our tax dollars.
