I suppose it’s too much to hope for, for RSS feeds to make a comeback. Or JSON feeds being more prevalent. I’m totally serious, I miss being able to just check the headlines without going through a bunch of bullshit.

I tried that once. Don’t eat the Milk Duds that come out of a rabbit, trust me, they taste like shit.
I gave up on it because I’ve tried logging in via Jeroba, Connect, and Voyager on my phone, and no bueno. I don’t mind putting in some effort but eventually I give up.
Oh, I bought the second one for parts but it turned out to be in better shape than my old one. So I moved a bunch of the parts from the first one over to the second, because neither was working before I did that.
“Starter home”, I’m not sure how much more disdain I could have for that title. I bought a home in 2003 that would probably be called that now. It was a typical size for when it was built in 1982 but of course homes must be bigger now. My wife has a friend who has a home that’s nearly double the size yet she’s jealous of all the storage space we have. There’s this trend of building homes with huge main spaces and I don’t understand why.
I understand if people end up having to move for work of course, and if the home they’re in is literally too small for their family, I just don’t understand moving just because a bigger house is available.
I had an Acer netbook that I ended up calling the Netbook of Theseus because I bought one in 2009, then several years later bought an identical one on eBay. I ran Linux on the thing and kept it until last year.
Oh lort. You just gave me flashbacks. One of my kids bought one of those $200 Chuwi laptops and it would barf all over itself about once a month, so badly it would require a reinstall.
It seems like a lot of iot tech is geared more towards iPhone in the US. For example my wife’s Odyssey will read the entire header of a text message with text to speech, and if you look into it Honda says it’s a known issue. No such issue with iPhones.
I want to see Indiana Jones but I’ve had stuff to do every day since it came out. I might bite the bullet and go tomorrow.
I’m saving this for later, I have people send me print ads (yeah really) and this will help.
