9/10 times a different cheese will taste much better and texturally if you’re using a good melting point cheese for the use case better there as well.

That said, this style of cheese excels and is really only tolerable in HOT food. It needs to be melted. Its nasty pre-melt and its nasty post-melt. But while melted, it’s good.

A grilled cheese with real and stringy cheeses is great. But sometimes a grilled cheese with 2 kraft singles is what you crave.

Maybe it would be confusing to add this but your second point could clarify that you can interact with any other instance so long as:

• lemmy.world hasn’t defederated from them
• That instance hasn’t defederated from lemmy.world

For instance (accidental pun), I believe behaw.org is/was defederated from lemmy.world. Additionally, I believe I heard that lemmy.world defederated from lemmy.online (the reddit spam instance).

I know my instance is also currently discussing defederating lemmy.online among other choices

To me lemmy.ca got my account because it uses a .ca domain so in essence we’re supporting local… Or I guess national.

That’s likely due to the exploit on your instance.

Most instances as a precautionary measure invalidated all login sessions.

You need to clear cache in tbe app and/or just delete your login and readd it.

I had to do it for Jerboa as my instance admins took the precautionary measure that yours did as well (though it was more necessary for lemmy.world aince they were jit hardest with the exploit)

Atleast the second point on your ‘missed’ list is generally instance related (atleast in my experience).

The only issues with buttons not working I had was when I didn’t realise my instance was down to update to 0.8.1
