Psh, as a leftist I’ll have you know we’ve done a lot more than complain. We went to a few protests, wrote a couple emails, and boycott stores we hardly shopped at in the first place.

There is a male loneliness problem. The meme is making fun of the toxic dickheads that are part of the problem and lack the self awareness to realize it.
“Why don’t the people I treat like shit like me?!”
oatscoop@midwest.socialto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Inching closer to the grave every day9·2 months agoOne day you’ll wake up and realize people born on the year you graduated school can legally vote, drink, etc. A short time later those kids have kids of their own … and you are ( or are old enough to be ) a grandparent.
The worst part is you’ll still mentally feel like you’re not much older than your late 20s or 30s.

Another factor contributing to the discontinuation of manual transmissions is the increasing emphasis on safety features and the integration of advanced driver-assist technologies.
Ew.

The problem has always been the “greed is good” sociopaths using it for evil.

It also kills off any pathogens, which is a good things since it’s fairly common for raw flour to be contaminated with E. coli and Salmonella.
Cold water causes them to revert back to wet flour.

I deleted my Amazon account entirely – my kindle is a paperweight now. It sucked, but between Amazon and all the other retailers I refuse to do business with my impulse buying has dropped to near zero. Any non essential want has an added barrier to buying it now – and that’s not a bad thing.
Yes: some of the things I buy are a bit more expensive now, but I’m actually spending less overall.

I say it “Jif” because:
- That’s what the format’s creator named it.
- It’s weird, but “soft G” is a thing and acronyms and the only “rule” for pronouncing acronyms is “it’s easy to say”.
- It annoys people that are way too invested in it. Sure, it’s immature – but it’s low stakes and not particularly “shitty”. I enjoy it and you only YOLO once.

I had a 9" HP mini 2140– the keyboard was surprisingly good given its size.
It’s just a shame the build quality matched the price and they fell apart in short order.
