Not a good idea. Such a broth can be used as a pesticide but it’s also dangerous to humans and animals. Nicotine also absorbs through the skin so, anyone trying this (which I can’t recommend but for it’s dangers and general lack of need for pesticides in home gardens) should be extremely careful and use all PPE (durable waterproof gloves, goggles, long sleeves, trousers, and waterproof footwear, as well as respirator if there’s any chance of aerosolizing) when applying. Seriously. While it has been used historically by home gardeners, the toxicity is no joke.
And, always remember: Proper PPE is sexy.

Yup. A massive portion entry and mid level positions in the scientific field that I did my undergrad in were offshored in my graduation year. As someone else stated, they are indeed worse than people say. The has been massive consolidation in the industry, to the point where nearly every app is owned by the same company. And that company has been caught, multiple times, catfishing their own users with bots that then ghost them.
The company is pure Chicago School economics; they don’t care about their users or product, just extracting money from people. Generally, this is men (though not always) as the culture cultivated in the apps is pretty shallow and messed up.
Overall, it’s a much better time to engage in some sort of social hobby of the like. Success rate will likely be higher and the experience less depressing.

Anecdotally, my grandfather was a volunteer and gunner on a landing craft in the Pacific and would have died, if not for the armor plate in front of him. He admitted to intentionally not shooting at enemy soldiers, when laying down suppressing fire, primarily damaging empty sheds and the like. Despite choosing to be there, he didn’t want to kill anyone.
Compare that to conscripts and draftees fighting in the Russia-Ukraine war and you’re a lot more likely to find people uncommitted to killing other human beings. Most human beings have a strong aversion to homicide, even in war.
