It’s made a huge difference for me being able to sleep
I use dim red light in my room when I’m reading before bed, so I associate it more winding down.
Ordered some chocolates and wine to be delivered to her
I thought this was an Onion article as I scrolled, wtf.
Totally agree, I think Into Thin Air is maybe my favorite book and I wasn’t expecting that at all when I read it. I really enjoyed the show based on Under the Banner of Heaven too. What a bunch of crazies.
I don’t know if I agree with foolish I never got to see it in the theater so I definitely will. I would pay to go see a lot of older movies in the theater.
You can do your job without your job becoming who you are. Leave your work at work. Put in the hours you agreed to, not more.
I definitely want some caffeinated lemonade
I don’t know, I don’t think the PS Plus one is a scam. I subscribed to the mid tier one when it was cheaper for a whole year than to buy a game I wanted to play that was included with it. I’ve played a good half dozen to dozen games in the year I’ve had it. I feel like I’ve definitely got my money’s worth out of it.
US (Midwest), 40, maybe? I know how to but haven’t driven one since I was probably 19.
A little. I miss the movie and show discussions. Also the smaller community subreddits for specific things/people I like to follow there’s not nearly as much or in some cases nothing on Lemmy.
Below the Root on Commodore 64. After that just the Mario Games and Final Fantasy games on NES and SNES.
I would second goodr. I have probably a dozen different pairs lying around that I use for anything outdoors. They stay on your head really well if you’re working out but are also really comfortable and the price is hard to beat.
Celeste. That game is way more time consuming than I ever would have guessed. High replay value too imo.
My grandpa took me and a friend to see Mars Attacks in the theater, he went to a different movie so we could be on our own. Legend.
Envy (2004) starting Jack Black and Ben Stiller. I recently rewatched this as it had been 10+ years since I last saw it. I was pretty surprised to see how poorly rated it was. Supposedly Jack and Ben even apologized for it. I don’t know, I still think it’s funny.
MOA but pre Legacy Toys nextdoor?
