Not how it works. Also your use of “becomes a publisher” suggests to me that you are misinformed - as so many people are - that there is some sort of a publisher vs platform distinction in Section 230. There is not.

Repealing Section 230 would actually have the opposite effect, and lead to less moderation as it would incentivize not knowing about the content in the first place.
Sadly it has been more than 12 years we’ve been waiting for the next book. 🙁
Great recommendation. Extremely easy to get into, great compelling character voice, and most of the entries in the series are very quick reads.
IMO this is a wild recommendation to give to someone that doesn’t do a lot of reading.
If you enjoyed The Expanse then I would recommend Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds.
I wouldn’t say it is “packed with action” but I have to recommend the Revelation Spaces series by Alastair Reynolds, just because I think more people should be reading these.
I would usually recommend some Alastair Reynolds to anybody into science fiction. I always suggest starting with House of Suns because it’s a stand-alone novel that is really good and will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from his writing. But his Revelation Space series is where the bulk of his writing is. However, I wouldn’t call his work fast paced. So you might not get into it.
I have recently been reading the Murderbot Diaries. They are extremely easy and enjoyable reads. Could definitely give those a try.
If you enjoyed Recursion, you would probably like another book by Blake Crouch, Dark Matter.
Children of Time is a must-read IMO
This is frankly bizarre. I don’t understand how you can even write that and reasonably think that the platform hosting the hypothetical defamation should have any liability there. Like this is actually a braindead take.
