  • If anyone is interested in a good web front-end that works on desktop/tablets/mobile, I can strongly recommend Voyager - https://vger.app.

Miles better than the official web front-end, and if any folks are used to Apollo, you’ll feel right at home with Voyager.

What bothers me is just how bad the official Lemmy UI is. I appreciate Lemmy was developed by a very small crew, but simple bugs like being on a second page, navigating to a post, and then navigating back shows you first page content despite the pagination showing it’s on second page. That’s not even mentioning how weird/awful the UI looks in mobile and desktop mode.

Sorry for having a whinge, but the UI is the one thing that has been stopping me from really getting into Lemmy, and until I found Voyager, I was nearly ready to give up (as an end user) due to the bugs.

  • As a dude, I’m quite impartial to regular, doctor, or boss’ chair.

I’ve been the recipient of the kneeling one, and I found it quite awkward, like “well, what do I do know. I don’t really know what to do with my hands, and I don’t want to put it on the back of her head to imply she needs to suck me off better or anything”.

If I felt goofy, then I’d probably twiddle my thumbs in a very silly way to try and illicit a giggle from the kneeling position.
