My wife has become an avid Switch gamer since we picked one up during COVID and she’s been excited for this one. It also happens to come out on her birthday, which makes this a pretty easy win for me. I’ve been showing her reviews all morning to get her hyped.

I don’t preorders as a rule but this one is sitting there ready to go for Friday. I had to cycle through a bunch of games to kick it off the home screen, so she currently thinks I just couldn’t decide what to play yesterday.

I remember seeing this at a theater screening of Oscar nominated animated shorts. I’d done no research and wasn’t expecting a Don Hertzfeldt entry. I loved it and it’s since become one of my favorite modern sci fi movies. An older woman in the lobby was complaining about it afterwards and I still think it’s funny how different pieces can speak to people in such wildly different ways.

Well I don’t want to get all controversial about it but the thing about India is it’s a country in South Asia with a land area of approximately 3.3 million square kilometers and a population of roughly 1.4 billion. And that might be a hot take, but also we have to keep in mind its primary exports are petroleum goods and textiles.
