In my experience, most of the tech layoffs have been non-devs. PMs and Designers have been the hardest hit and often their roles are being eliminated.

We invaded Iraq (2nd time) after dubious claims from a dissident that they had WMDs. Germany even told us not to listen to this guy.
I wish it was a better situation in Apple land. Gotta dodge Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple TV nags with every update.
They also offer it on the Z4 with the Handschalter package. Pretty sure this will be the last year of the Z4 tho.
I am in Phoenix and just took one to the airport. First time riding in a Waymo. It was uncannily good and much more confident than the FSD Tesla I’ve ridden in a few times.
I’ve worked with a few PMs over my 12 year career that think devs are really only there to code like trained monkeys.
Eh the software handled all that. Rounded corners tho… <shudder>
I’m a homeowner and I support this message. Couldn’t afford the house I live in today and we only bought it 4 years ago.

Random speculation: Could be banks needing to pull out of the market due to the Fed signaling September rate cuts due to the higher-than-expected unemployment report. This will cause a drop in yield for savings, which would cause people to reduce what they have in those accounts.
Gotta imagine there are a few more surprises in store for the convention.
We’re so fucked if these are the best candidates our parties can put forward.
Which 10 states would those be? I don’t know of any state that prohibits an abortion when the life of the mother is at risk.

This is the hidden-variables hypothesis and specific tests were made to check for it. See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell's_theorem
I really don’t get Truman’s calculus to use the bomb except to inflict massive casualties, which may have been what he wanted to show the Soviets after all — Truman was willing to obliterate entire populations.
Since there were plenty of other examples of this (ex Dresden) with conventional explosives and fire bombing, I’m pretty sure he just wanted to test his new toy.
Right. All I remember from the marketing material, even the bespoke website, was an image of a Sentinel. Seeing that was enough for me to avoid all reviews, but I did visit that website a few more times and still had no idea what the movie was about. Saw it opening night. Actually I was a bit disappointed by the premise, seemed very derivative. Still a great movie tho.
Go away. ‘Baten.
