My threadripper 1950x is from 2017… and is the cpu powering my primary hypervisor perfectly fine. That’s not 18 years ago, that’s not even 8 years ago.

Please do not buy cheap no brand android tv boxes unless you know how to verify they are not running malware out of the box. This is a known problem and shouldn’t be recommended.
When walking by / through vehicles in a parking lot with things in my hands, I will make the conscious effort to pull my arms close to my body and prevent them swaying or moving with my normal walk. As well as moving items from one hand to the other if the car is on the side that was holding them. Nobody likes scratches and dings!
Which buzzwords are you talking about? I genuinely see none in the title.
What’s more, all keyless cars still have a fob with proximity and if the fob dies, they legally have to have a way to start the car without the fob battery which is why they all have an nfc reader somewhere (usually in a cup holder) so you can put you dead fob on it and the car will start like normal.
That’s really unnecessary, even as a joke.
A predatory bird, which would give me extra cones and rods to see more colors / spectrum as well as possibly telescopic vision.
A shark, so I can swim better and breathe underwater. Then maybe I won’t be so afraid of large bodies of water.
Absolutely, which is why I said Reddit is too far gone. This is also why I was advocating for ways to integrate paid subs without limiting content access or providing priority publishing.
I’m not convinced it’s 100% the worst idea though. The fediverse is entirely self and donor funded. Paid subs as an extension to free tiers might be a viable solution for a platform like this. Not Reddit because they’re too far gone, but if there was some kind of enhanced feature set along with improved moderation and overall program support by way of paid subs, it’s not all that different from how the fediverse operates. Of course I would argue that paid subs should not be limited in content or offer any means of priority publishing and completely optional for users and anons alike seems like a fair idea.
It’s especially irresponsible because you just know that this kid and his team (if he has one) gave in to any and all demands of the trump campaign. No leverage, nothing in return, no facts, no value.
It’s a very enterprise thing to do. Ensuring your company gets a contract for long term support and installation.
Bluetooth is a questionable choice unless the company also offered some kind of network appliance that incorporates connections in a cheaper way than all units being networked. Allowing the hub, as a serviceable component, to provide additional monitoring and functionality without requiring each unit to also contain the components. There’s certainly reasons, not outlandish either, but who knows?
I moved to mbin too, as Ernest was obviously unable to commit the time and resources needed while he has been dealing with life and health related issues. The real bummer is the complete lack of willingness to accept or recognize help when it’s required so the least I could do to help the project was actually to stop using it and remove my usage from the servers he wouldn’t be able to maintain. It’s sad but the fediverse is functioning as intended here, being able to move around is a core feature. I hope he recovers well.
Go for a run or cold shower. Get your heart rate up, similar effect.
All the mythological cures rely on one specific thing: focusing on a task or overriding your brain’s autonomic systems with adrenaline (get scared). Don’t think about it and do something else with as much concentration as you can will. Sorry if you’re ADHD.
My point was more about timeline. Is my company’s RTO mandate from 2022 part of the 3%? 8%? How are they counting? The article wasn’t very clear to me so I must be missing something.
We’ve been full RTO since mid-2022, what’s that 3% actually counting?
Edit- mid 2022. Damn time is weird.
I disagree. It’s not a remix, it’s a rework/edit which is designed to maximize the amount of streaming revenue on platforms such as Spotify. We saw the same thing with “skit” songs and interludes as well as 30+ track album releases. All to get more plays on streaming, at the expense of the art.
He’s a really great engineer. I think he’s just too in the spotlight for his own good.
