Today I read the news.
…mentally and emotionally hurting counts too, right?

AI-generated art posted anywhere can bother me. It depends.
If the art comes with a post crediting the art and artists used to create the piece? I don’t mind them, even if the art isn’t to my taste. But more than often it’s not. And I do consider it stealing if the AI-generated art wasn’t pulling only from the person who was using the AI’s own art.
As most take from anywhere on the internet and attributes it to no one, I shall continue to block.
There is something strange to me about using the term teenager when referring to someone in ancient Egypt. There is nothing wrong with it, but seeing it in an article opposed to in casual conversation? New to me.
Sounds like you have a lot in common with my father’s reading tastes. In which case, I will recommend the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde.
When you are on your own schedule, yes. Otherwise you have to deal with the schedules of businesses and people who aren’t available at night. My doctor won’t see me at midnight, after all.

Wow, I didn’t know luchadors could make it past 500.
Is the preview picture… not showing a shark to anyone else? I clicked on the article and didn’t see this picture there either.
I’m not surprised. I forget when I looked up the research, but several hair typed definitely don’t need shampoo as much as people think they do. That we have another product (conditioner) yo undo the damage shampoo does to out hair is astounding.
As for the overall bathing thing, I agree. It depends on what you do day to day, your environment, and genetics. With all three of those factors, some people need to bath more often than others need to.
Most of my washing routine is actually for chronic pain. I don’t need to scrub for smell too much, but hot water feels good on pained areas.
I thought this was an Onion article for a moment.
I feel sorry for her future coworkers, but at the same time? I like when people have to live the perspective of the people they treat badly. I hope this teaches her a lesson.
It’s Chipotle.
Scientists discover racism: more news at eleven.
In other news: time does nothing new. Scientists shocked by decomposition.
I wish this site wasn’t so hard to read. Anyway, as much as I love history, I was more taken by the photographs of nature which would load.
Sounds like a part of Imposter syndrome. “My problems aren’t that bad”, but if someone else had the same problems? You would recognize it as it is. Only when they are your problems do you decide you shouldn’t feel as bad about them.
It is fascinating how they have used this evidence to find a place previously considered “fabled”.
However, this part of the article absolutely slays me:
The baboon is the only animal not native to Egypt that is linked with Egyptian deities, Kopp said, and it’s a little odd that ancient Egyptians took such interest in baboons. They tend to steal crops and break into homes looking for food, making them difficult to live with, she said.
“The people who coexist with baboons don’t really like them,” Kopp told Live Science.
As uncertain as I am about the technology, people already steal voices from voice actors, singers, and celebrities. At this point I’m just glad these artists gave their permission.
Beauty And Warrior. Bad animation, every young woman looked the same (the brothers too, but maybe they are twins?), bad voice acting, repeating the same bad ”going down the cavern” scene three times, and I still don’t know what anyone’s reason for doing anything was.
It is a hilarious movie to drop on people. Even after telling them how awful it is, everyone is always surprised.
I always enjoy discoveries like this, though am often also disappointed by how many people are still surprised by how not new prosthetics are.
There is the awful part of me who hopes someone accidentally breaks the bottle before it is sold.
The end of the game blew my mind out of the water in a way no other twist has ever quite captured. It might have been the mental space I was in at the time too. Whatever the case, I will always remember the first time I played it.
I also wish I had played the first Golden Sun before the second, so if I could put a duology and that caveat in there? Definitely those two.
Thank you for the reminder I should binge some QI again.
