I’m 33. I just got out of a marriage. I felt like I had absolutely no control of anything and I wound up being a shadow to my now ex-husband. I forgot who I was and was just going through the motions. It’s been a real hard fight moving out of his shadow, but he is still my friend. You don’t have to follow everything all the time, but being aware of politics around you is still healthy. If you need an example, gaza vs israel and ukraine vs russia. The US is in turmoil and that affects other countries as much as the US.
