Cassette Beasts? TemTem? Digimon? Saying no attempts to fill it were made is disgenuine

Enshittification marches on
What I mean is no one talks about Hogwarts Legacy anymore. People talk about Assassin’s Creed, God of War, old Mario Games, Even older Harry Potter games but Hogwarts legacy I don’t see popping up on conversation anymore

“Niche games mean nothing”
Digimon is niche to you? The multimedia giant with multiple shows, frequent game releases, merchandise and even a card game which blew up in the TCG scene? The vital bracelet? Digimon Survive? Everything???
Have you been living under a rock? Digimon had a huge resurgence in the last few years.
I mostly found Palworld fans obsess over Palworld and force it into every conversation.

Kinda. Honestly I never got too deeply invested into Hogwarts Legacy but I found that games that surge THIS hard in popularity tend to be forgotten fast. Esp when their main source of attention is controversy

It’s moreso that I’m annoyed that Pokémon/Palworld fans seem to act like nothing but Palworld and Pokémon exist and I’m just wondering like “Dude devs have been flowing into the genre for YEARS. Palworld isn’t exactly the first”
The genre has been getting revitalized for a while.

“I hope more devs flow in to the space”
You mean Cassette Beasts, Beastie Ball, FUCKING DIGIMON, TemTem etc?
Wonder how long that is going to last. Remember when Hogwarts legacy used to be a top played game?
Thank you. I didn’t get it at first
…pi?
They’re being shady. Remember the lead of Pocketpair also owns a cryptocurrency exchange (Aka, a massive damn scam)
He’s going to run away with the money
Seriously “#1 sold game on steam in 2024” ah yes, because that’s a good metric when it’s been only one month and the biggest titles have a tendency to drop in December
oh I was never really desiring 3D pokémon in the first place so I suppose that coincides with my misunderstanding
