That might be the other one I run, I forget because it’s on my server as a virtual machine (rtx 3080 pass through), but I haven’t used it in a long time.

I self host several free AI models, one of them I run using a program called “gpt4all” that lets you run several models locally.
The fact that it’s a top 10 seller on steam deck for years and they just fucked over everyone on Linux, they deserve it. We all paid them and they completely screwed all of us. I feel so cheated. I only run Linux and I have a steam deck. I left a bad review on steam and I contacted their support from all my rockstar accounts, but it’s not enough. Battleye is compatible with Linux, they just had to send an email, but rockstar keeps lying that it’s not compatible.
it’s a setting that can be changed to make it compatible but sadly rockstar won’t do it. Wtf
The garmin ones allow you to use a phone and send txt using the satellites and they have agents that help with things. That’s why they have a monthly fee. Mine only calls emergency rescue.
Elon did something during the Ukrainian war like turned off communication when asked, or even given location data. I forget which, but it’s not good in preparing. Starlink needs to constantly launch new satellites and when launching stops the service will not last long.
The satellite one I have is a one time fee, you push a button then search and rescue come to your GPS coordinates. It’s mainly if I get stranded and it’s life and death situation.
Sadly now a days almost everything is internet based, and can be shut off remotely by governments or hackers. Wish there were more options for communication.
As for long distance, I think you would need an expensive ham radio and a huge antenna.
Good to know. I have been waiting for a more complete device to come out eventually. Figure I will wait a few years and see how these devices advance.
I have a few 2 way radios, ham radio, emergency satellite communicator for search and rescue.
Lots of people have been getting into such as the lilygo t-deck, I might get a few of them some day.
I also have a cell phone booster and a digital TV tuner, just in case.
Yea I agree, also the stick drift issues and raising the prices of controllers. I wanted a ps5 for when gta6 came out, but with these prices, sticking with PC and waiting for the pc release.
lol our cats name is Kiki. Maybe he really wants this type of littler if he is posting here haha.
Maybe this is why I have been seeing more drivers wearing masks.
But they are also using the local AI to spy on you.
Meta said it does not, but what about 3rd parties…
It was a thrift store auction website, when they first started there was almost no one bidding, so I won TONS of awesome things for cheap. Eventually more and more people joined and the auctions are not as easy to find deals.
I gave them laptops, Linux mint pre-installed. I used to buy auction lots of broken laptops, so I got them for like $10 each. Threw in an SSD. It works as fast as a new machine for browsing the web and watching YouTube. I also pre-installed some common programs to get them started.
Is called “Windows” because they are always looking in at you. I have been on Linux since they announced recall, and their fucking one drive kept secretly uploading my desktop files! (Kept seeing sync icons, even with all that disabled). Since then I now have my wife, uncle, dad, friends, etc all running Linux now.
The ones I saw were a single color, one of them was all black vinyl.
I played all of them, didn’t really care for 6, felt like something was missing but idk.
I self hosted many websites for about 20 years, but sadly I had to take it all down this year. In the process of moving to another state. Also going to really miss my 1gbps unlimited fiber connection.
I hosted my websites from windows server 2003, 2008, virtual machines, Linux, and other ways. It was fun times. I have very good up time using 2 servers and UPS battery backups.
