Dumb take, the housing prices isn’t caused by the free market, it’s caused by the lack of it. There’s a huge demand for new houses in this country, but developers literally cannot build them because of our shitty zoning and some of our brain dead regulations.

Again, it doesn’t matter. You can see in the poll data where and why AFD is on the rise. The reason why AFD is surging is because they’re the only ones who talk about immigration. There’s literally no alternative to them. The mainstream parties ignore the problems and pretend they don’t exist, they don’t provide alternate, more sane solutions. These protests can continue until the next election day, AFD will still maintain its influence if nothing changes.

No, Americans are just as prone as the other anglo countries, there’s just more of them. If we start delving into other languages, then things immediately go downhill. For example, I speak Arabic and I would say that at least 80% believe in at least 1 batshit crazy conspiracy theory. Why? It’s because the vast majority of Arabs consume their information from Facebook and a good chunk of that information comes from state owned propaganda outlets. Doesn’t mean anything because all these protests are in the big cities in West Germany, AFD’s base is in East Germany and the less Urbanized areas. As long as the main parties keep ignoring the issues with immigration, AFD is going to continue to surge.
