I don’t think the internet is more impervious to propaganda than cable TV tbh. YouTube has been pushing far-right propaganda since at least 2013. Quite effectively, too.

I think you’ll find that, sadly, nobody is worse for HIG than software engineers, especially Linux aficionados.
They like their design as unpalatable and shit-lookalike as possible.
I use both. They work well and get out of my way, while adding security. Just make sure you use a distro that has those things working OOTB and you’ll be fine.
It’s getting to the point where it’s better to just straight up ask Claude, not gonna lie.
I wish to compliment Microsoft on them accurately prophesying that Windows 10 would be my last windows.
Don’t you get it? The propaganda needs you to be rallied into a constant state of China Bad sentiment, even if the excuses for such don’t make sense.
As another European, I flat out trust China more than the US. They don’t make BS like this up.
I feel like we’re living in a [Billy Joel - We Didn’t Start the Fire]
I don’t understand why you’d say this. The US 100% did start all these fires. Not only did they start them, they keep adding wood to the fire. It’s so blatant even a blind person could see.
Billy Joel has great song and I appreciate him as an artist, but I’ll he damned if he isn’t an imperialist justifier.
Same thing on Google results. I don’t use Google but I use what are basically frontends for Google and all it feeds you with every search is AI-generated slop.
Every Google search must be precedented by writing “Reddit”, now.
AI. BOTS. MILLENIAL INFANTILE DESIGN. CORPORATE SPEAK.
Gee, I wonder why people aren’t tripping over themselves to join this.
Instead, crony capitalism, abuse of power, or something else is more appropriate
So, standard capitalism stuff?
That would be 1 in 4 users and that’s just not accurate at all.
What you mean to say is 25% of Windows users still use windows 7.
Its still an alarming statistic, and no wonder bruteforce cyberattacks are still so effective today considering it hasn’t received security updates in like 10 years.
I sincerely hope those people aren’t connecting their devices to the internet like, at all.
I’m fairly sure at this point even using a Debian based distro is better than sticking to windows 7.
I understand, but my point is that MacOS is more than serviceable as a work-focused operating system. It is more than capable to replace Windows as long as you’re willing to accept a different work flow.
If you’re already on Linux then great, stay there. But the average consumer wants something easier to use, and MacOS is easy. More importantly, it doesn’t treat you like garbage like Windows does.
Speaking of, this video came to mind.
I disagree that Linux isn’t an alternative but even if it wasn’t, MacOS is.
Seems like Microsoft doesn’t mind having their userbase reduce another 20% and giving it to their main competitor.
Maybe this time they’ll change their ways.
Wouldn’t know. Left Windows behind and now it’s someone else’s problem.
What community? Getting whipped along with your work colleagues? I swear these studies are totally sponsored by some business interests.
Digimon World 4.
Granted, I was a child when I played it, but it was fun.
Years later I found a few YouTubers shitting on it due to bugs, recycled assets, lack of digivolutions, shitty camera angles, spammy gameplay, etc etc.
I agree with all of these criticisms and in hindsight yea that game was really lazy. However, I still had a good time.
Exactly.
Nah, i just know a bot when I see one.
Okay Bot.
You get my meaning. I was referring to Broadcast TV, as you called it.
