Mind your expenses and plan to save where possible just in case
So… like always? Nothing changed. We are already fucked.
I always wanted to be a Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant!
I don’t think a casual user would in many cases even be able to tell the difference. I mean you have a desktop with some icons which most of people only use to start the browser which is absolutely identical in both systems.
You have a start menu with other programs and you have a task bar which shows the open programs and some status icons and a clock.
It is really not that different. Most people just start a browser and go on Facebook or eBay or whatever, use a simple word processor for the daily needs. I don’t think they would be able to tell the difference.
works flawless here on Android 14 with Firefox 126.0.1. not tested desktop yet.
Wait their articles are paywalled.
Journalists have to pay for food and rent too. What is the alternative? ads?
The money has to come from somewhere.
the court accused him of an “ideology of maximum privacy.”
In what twisted fucked up crazy world is that a bad thing?
I hate this timeline…
with version 1.0
day one patch brings it to 1.1 and makes it mandatory
Yeah i tend to forget that github is in the US and their allmighty DMCA can be used to take down anything. i just have a hard time believing this shit would fly in the EU.
Did not get a e-mail but my fork is gone. That can’t be legal can it? I’m in the EU.
Yea, that is nonsense. While the law says “Anyone who unlawfully damages or destroys another person’s property is liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding two years or a monetary penalty.” this basically never happens. He likely will get a small fine (if any).
Do actually get the 2 years you would have to do some very serious damage. As example a couple of years ago someone got 2 years (on probation) because he set fire to the restaurant he was working on.
You won’t be locked up here for 2 years because you drilled a few holes in the wall…
I am not agnostic. there is no god. there is no proof so there is no god. yes, it is really that simple.
You are not alive at that point. you are braindead. your heart is kept on pumping but you are definitely gone.
aren’t depressions fun?
Holy shit, its 4 years already… feels like last week.
i would love to see the answer from reddit because that sounds extremely illegal. keeping the data alone is already a violation.
Who would have thought 10 years ago that one of the biggest contributors to the Linux ecosystem and currently a significant driving force for adoption would come from the gaming industry.
17 year old Dell here. Threw a SSD and Linux on it and that damn thing boots faster than most brand new Desktops. Absolutely enough to surf the web, listen to music, watch videos or do the usual Linux stuff (ssh, etc.). You can even somewhat game on it via sunshine/moonlight.

You think backward-looking, misogynistic religious nationalist nutjobs trying to seize power are a specifically US problem?
