To be clear I wouldn’t give them my money even if they did offer all the same features.

Yeah but Newpipe works.
it just freeloads
I watch a number of creators that YT has demonetized so I’m not worried about it.
YT can clearly see what people want in these apps. They simply need to provide the exact same functionality and set a price. They won’t though because they want control and data as well.
Youtube Premium offers a fraction of the benefits of something like Newpipe.
Also that the US has been at war for the past 20+ years and has very little to show for it’s efforts. People are war fatigued and want things sorted out at home because domestically things are terrible.
Texas is getting a new bullet train soon.
I agree. I refuse to watch ads or to pay for an experience that offers less than a fraction of what Newpipe offers. When Newpipe is no longer viable I’ll repurpose that time to chipping away at my reading list.
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed
You don’t have to be a conservative to recognize it’s a violation of the 2nd amendment.
Texas has the second highest domestic migration in the country (second only to Florida). New York, Illinois and California (worst) have negative migration rates.

COVID revealed that.
It’s great! It only makes 4-6 servings of rice at a time but I prefer that because it means there’s less leftovers
Someone gifted me a Le Creuset rice cooker. I use it at least once but often twice a week. At $200+ it’s truly something I never would have bought myself.
It just relies on the individual to do it themselves instead of being state enforced.
Pretty much this. Christ’s teachings focus on prayer, fasting and almsgiving at a personal and corporate (church) level regardless of which government is in power.
This is common in arab countries
And the [blank] that use [blank] to abuse others don’t give a shit
Anyone can misuse anything to harm someone
Jesus would also be a raging socialist.
Jesus was more or less apolitical in the gospel (e.g. “render unto caesar what is caesar’s” )
He clearly states that to whom much is given much will be required though ergo almsgiving is a critical part of the faith.
Electrified rail is great if it’s available but it’s more than often not. In the absence of the electrified tracks trains use a diesel generator electric engine hybrid to haul which isn’t terrible imo. Trains are just a part of the logistical puzzle though. Trucking is THE way things get from point A to point B in the US and it’s not going away anytime soon. The kind of infrastructure required for the solution in your video is cool but to your point probably needs to be paired with some hybrid technology so trucks can still thrive in flyover country where building and maintaining electric highway infrastructure isn’t pragmatic.
I agree and the market is not offering an affordable, equally capable alternative to combustion engines. EVs are a larp for anyone who needs to do more than just commute to and from work. (e.g. long distance travel, towing, hauling)
This is the best idea I’ve seen for hauling. It’s also basically open source.
The death penalty is anti-christian imo. Man’s judgement is fallible and we are all made in the image of God.
It says shall not be infringed which means what it says. There is no prescription for what is allowed but instead the opposite. The government cannot and should not prevent the population from arming itself. If people think that’s disagreeable then they should amend the constitution not defy it.
The constitution was written by people who had just overthrown a government. This amendment wasn’t written to protect the rights of hunters. It’s specifically to enable the people to take control if the government gets out hand.
Do you think the US would allow a militia to exist when it’s entire purpose is to be a check on government power?
