We cant do it now thats true. But isnt the process you described called photosynthesis? Using Sunlight (heat in form of UV Waves) to turn Smoke (CO2 and bunch of other stuff that isnt used) with Water into sugars which build the structure of plants?
Luckily it isnt that easy to burn down every server as burning carpets in south america or books in other places

But what kind of active action are you talking about? Not using facebook seems like a legit boycott of it. Is it actively speaking about not using it and informing other people?
Maybe i am getting old, but if someone says they used something a couple years ago, then i dont assume its two years ago. more like 10 years or so. Dont have a problem with the rest of your comment
