Absolutely, if you’re into mystery games. The concept is unique and the game is short enough that the gimmicks don’t grow old. There’s also a VR version if you’re into that, although it’s not exactly the same.

Get a tent for free on Buy Nothing, strap it to your bike, take a bus to the nearest trail, ride all day, camp next to a river, go home the next day. Easily doable in a 2 day weekend. I did this exact thing 2 weeks ago and it was a great mental reset.
Sounds like you just want an excuse to be miserable instead of finding ways to be happy.
What else would you do with it?
What’s PIA?
They were clearly agreeing with the poster above and pointing out the absurdity.
I have to wonder what percentage of folks are using handheld gaming PCs like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally. Personally I’ve found that I game much more now that I have a Steam Deck and can mindlessly play stuff like Dave the Diver while relaxing on the couch with my SO, versus setting aside specific “gaming time” to be at my desk.
I used to do this, but Verizon gave me a Flip 5 for $500 less than Samsung was offering and I got a free tablet with it. I needed to switch off of Google Fi anyway because they didn’t have service at my job site.
11 years? Damn, time flies. I waited in line for the 1.0 release and took a week off of work to play it. I really need to give XIV another shot once I’m done with XI.
HorizonXI is free and immensely popular if anyone wants a good look at what old-school MMOs used to be. It requires cooperation and teamwork at every step, and the community is wonderful.
$80,000 seems more than reasonable to fix a roof and floor imo.
Which flavor? Pro?
This is not my experience on Windows 10 Pro
Everyone here is dramatically overcomplicating the solution. Simply:
This stops the update service and will absolutely prevent windows updates from running. BUT it reverts at the next boot, so be careful.
If you want a more permanent solution, you can edit a regkey to trick the system into looking for a local wsus server, which will prevent it from reaching out to the web. Read this for a rundown: https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/security-updates/windowsupdateservices/21669493

I live in an apartment and just charge it once a week for 30 min while I do my grocery shopping. Ezpz. I’ve been doing this for 3 years and have never had a problem.
I work in IT. My favorite part is focusing on a difficult problem that no one else can solve, and fixing it. My nickname at work is “the tank” because they can point me at any issue and I’ll fix it. I’ll also toss in the paycheck. I had a recruiter tell me 2 years ago that my skill set isn’t even worth $65k and now I’m making more than double that.
My least favorite part is the occasional late nights. Worked a 20 hour shift the other day for a particularly difficult major issue. This happens maybe twice a year. I’m at an age where it takes a toll.
Wow, yet again it’s not a trans person.
Bring condoms. Many, many condoms.
My neighbor has a yard sign along the lines of “Roe vs Wade didn’t start abortions, it just made them safe.” And it’s in the shape of a coat hanger.
I’m not a demographic that has to worry about pregnancy but that hit me hard.
I’ve been using the same anime/manga torrenting site since the mid 2000s and I can’t believe it’s still up. Gonna be a sad day when it finally closes down.
