There are so many good ones for Austria. Probably have to go for Fürstenfeld by STS. I have never met somebody in Austria who wasn’t able to sing this, even (or especially) when drunk.

Duo to the way Crytopad works please remember to add a “Don’t want to say” answer to questions with radio buttons, since you cannot deselect them meaning you can’t back out of questions you don’t want to answer. Hit me up if you wanna do that survey again. I’ll gladly help you with structuring and formatting
I tried two weeks ago. Netflix and Disney+ resort to 720p. Amazon Prime was worse. The sound was soo bad. edit: grammar
I’m worried too but I doubt countries who voted against it will just lie down and turn over. I’m sure local courts will fight this on the grounds of national privacy laws. And just because the EU wishes this to be a thing doesn’t mean it’s happening too. The technological groundwork needs to be developed for this and I can imagine that some service will drag their feet at implementing that. At least that’s my unicorn utopia with rainbows I currently live in to bear this reality 🫠
I agree with you. I’m a fairly new Linux User and I start to run into these issues too. I think Linux just lends itself to projects that require you to google. It’s the endless fallacy of “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should”
However if we apply the average user use case: (A laptop to do light surfing, consuming media, and writing Emails) Linux can run (mostly) perfectly fine. (If you choose a reasonable Distro, not Arch). Personally I run Fedora with Gnome.(Realistically Ubuntu is a better choice for average users) Most major apps work via flatpacks and update centrally from the app store. They work out of the box. Firefox, Thunderbird, Only Office, Spotify what more does a Luser need?
Now granted one thing that does not work is legal streaming. No DRM Protection means no HD, High bit rate streaming. So you need to fall back to sailing the high seas.
Power management works out of the box for example under Fedora. Never charges over 80% notifies me at 20%
Sure having a better looking login screen, would be nice, but do I really care?
Sure emulating a 20 year old Windows game would be cool but I can’t expect to run that as is on Linux.
Sure a better weather app in the notification bar would be great but I know that my local weather is never accurate anyway.
I’d say for most Luser cases Linux will work out, just don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s a proper workstation.
Imma go with the suuper vanilla answer: Game of Life. I love the little hills and buildings you have to put on the board.
On the totally opposite spectrum of Nerdiness a full Board of Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition is a marvelous sight to behold
I still have a Samsung Ultrabook Series 9 with Windows 7 Ultimate laying around. Buddy is over 10 years old and works in a pinch as a replacement device. It’s always a pleasure opening it and seeing the custom login screen
I wish I could upgrade it with a USB-C and more RAM but Samsung was really anti consumer back then…
I’m running Stock Android 13 Fairphone 5. So if it’s not available for you it’s most likely taken away by your vendor. I remember my Sony XZ2 with Android 10 already having that feature 🤔
That’s not right. As long as they are excluded from DnD with their phone number, Android will let them through. It even says so in the settings (feddit.de still has image upload issues but the info states that “Even if messaging and calling apps can’t reach you, people that you choose here can still reach you through those apps”)
Y’all must have had horrible teachers in this thread.
Homework is a tool to train the concepts you learned at school and teach you some self management. It should allow you to learn the concepts by repetition and apply these concepts to similar problems to the ones already learned at school.
No I haven’t tested them yet. However something I do notice is that people tend to forget the small drives much more often. Simply because of the form factor.
As a general purpose USB (which not only works great for daily use as a thumb drive but also works with no issues as Linux Live or persistent USB) I can recommend the Sandisk Ultra line. I had them everywhere from 16GB to 128GB. They never let me down. The housing might look like it’s made from flimsy plastic but it’s surprising sturdy.
A second drive I’m currently preparing for use as a persistent Linux drive is the Samsung portable SSD T7. It’s nice and sturdy and the USB C to USB C interface allows me to easily run it on my Laptop without using up any of my precious USB A ports.
European Forces occupying the middle east gives of hard imperialistic taste. Also seeing how the EU and Germany are so close to the US militarily this could just be seen again as a western power struggle where US proxies are put in place. No what is needed is a country that is non aligned to neither the west nor the middle east.
Oh I didn’t know the Golan Heights were basically Austrian Territory when they controlled during their UN Mandate. See how stupid that sounds? If a peace force would move in the IDF would obviously not be in military control anymore there.
A theater competitor for what theater? The Yom Kippur War was 50 years ago.
I don’t think they have the capabilities is my guess. It’s understandable they don’t want to, it’s gonna be dangerous af. Politically speaking a UN Occupation and Peace Force would be the best way forward. Best from a country that is far away. China is not a bad contender. They have the resources and could gain valuable trade posts as well as prove their value as a world power they so desperately want to be. Philippines might also not be a bad choice they already have experience in UN Missions in Africa. Other choices could be a lot of states that have no geographical connection and don’t belong to the “west” to avoid it seeming like some (post) imperialistic occupation.
Egypt warned Israel about this attack. Egypt is not an enemy of Israel and hasn’t been for a long time. Also >inside of their territory. Since when is Gaza part of Israel’s territory?? Pretty biased language there.
It’s a stock photo…
