if you charge it at night sure, if you charge it during the day it’s 70% powered by renewables
daylight has been conquered by solar, now we’re moving into battery/hydro/wind to dominate night as well
you can also tell him that electric vehicles are still more efficient even when powered by coal because a petrol engine spends 70% of its energy making a lot of noise and heat, whereas ev’s do the opposite
byd seal looks amazing, the only thing I’m not sure on is the infotainment system, but I’m hoping by 2030 when I get my next EV the tech will have come along quite nicely
