Maybe by banning it they’ll create a market demand for cars that don’t spy on you
FYI, it’s entirely justifiable
I think it’s more of a problem with over regulation. The U.S. healthcare system suffers from a lack of market freedom. While some may argue for more government intervention or even a single-payer system, many of the inefficiencies could be resolved by removing excessive regulation and encouraging more competition. A true free-market approach, with more choices and price transparency, could lower costs and improve care quality—something over-regulation has failed to achieve.
Isn’t it the same speed electromagnetic fields propagate through space?
Is this true?
AI can allow non artist to output art that’s somewhere between terrible and mediocre.
AI can allow a great artist to dramatically increase their output and therefore revenue.
AI can’t really help mediocre artists much.
Luddites going to luddite basically. This exact same fear occurs everytime there’s a dramatic technology leap. Luddites like yourself will eventually quiet themselves.
Only art where you gather natural pigments with human hands, mix them yourself on a surface you made yourself out of fibers you gathered yourself shall be acceptable. Everything else isn’t actual art and is costing millions their jobs.
You know what’s funny? Professional artists probably use AI more than anyone. If not, they’re dumb. Why wouldn’t you use a tool that can 10x your output?
I don’t understand. Water is mentioned as a valid extinguishing means in the paper you linked, what’s your argument?
Thank God the government is here to protect us from dangerous people like this man. /s
These anti piracy commercials have gotten really mean.
No camden tablets for sterilization?
People in China don’t have a good stock market to invest in to “diversify”. They also don’t have good government programs like social security. The only investments are houses, shops, or your kids. If you chose houses and the market crashes and your kid can’t help, you’re screwed and will likely end up on the street.
Shut down their access to computer stores and the power companies while you’re at it. Only fair. No piracy without computers or power.
People just can’t imagine this treatment ever happening to themselves.
2 billion social security numbers? What’s the population of the US?
I’ve got some wheels on my car still. I think my furnace uses fire when it turns on.
Not surprised. Like chromecast audio, chromecast couldn’t really serve an adequate amount of ads. Basically it’s only value was it forced you to use stock youtube app to stream preventing any adblocking, but if you cast your screen, then it can’t stop adblocks, so it makes sense to discontinue this product. There’s some open source projects out there that might be worth looking into, NymphCast is one I saw, uses a rasberry pi.
I question those studies. It’s way easier to get someone’s attention in office than emailing them 3-4x. Additionally teamwork definitely increases when you work face to face at least sometimes.
