That’s just basic marketing at this point, hardly evil.
Why Nintendo?
If you’re referring to the way they handle copyright, that’s more of a problem with the Japanese legal system than Nintendo’s fault.
I can’t think of much else they do that’s mean or evil.
And when will we be stepping in to revert every other border taken by force over the last 70 years?
Theres a lot… That’s kinda how wars work.
Yes, because then it would be a recognized war between countries and Israel could seek other measures of retaliation. As it stands, Hezbollah gets to use a whole country as a human shield against things like international sanctions. Right now the only sanctions on Lebanon are for weapons, because other sanctions would lead to an even more massive humanitarian problem with how shit a state the country is in.
It’s one of the worst countries in the world right now. It lost 90% of its economic output since 2019 and something like 85% of the population is living below the poverty line.
Sure. War is war. Actions have consequences though, they should expect retaliation.
Absolutely is Israels call when that group is attacking them.
They don’t get a free attack pass just because there’s a border.

Wow, some people clearly need to read more books. It’s a reference.

You realize that the US, Russia, and China have been fighting this way and killing millions of civilians for like 60+ years now right?
Ukraine for example is the US vs Russia/China.
Afghanistan was the US vs Russia a few times.
The whole point of fighting somewhere else is that fewer of your own civilians die.
Because Nukes are a thing, that’s why all big countries fight proxy wars now. Ukraine, Israel, Afghanistan… All proxies.
Oh right, all the sanctions and prosecutions against Iran are working so well.
The rest of the world has picked sides, and there are major players on both sides, so nothing can happen.
If it’s a war crime to target non-combatants, then Hezbollah is already committing the war crimes with their rocket attacks on Israel. So is using human shields.
If your enemy isn’t following the “rules” why should you be required to do so?
I think Iran should stop funding terrorists.
If you want to get into who has who’s blood on their hands, you’ve got a very large history book to read. I don’t think there is a single non-island country (and even some of those have it) that doesn’t have a history steeped in humans killing other humans over the land.
Yes, but “aggressively removed from their homeland in 1948” also means “was voted on and approved by the UN as a direct result of what happened to the Jewish people in the world wars, and the collapse of the Ottoman empire for supporting the axis in WW1.”
Their country tried to win a war, and failed. Why shouldn’t there be consequences for that, like getting broken up and given in pieces to various more friendly groups.
Germany lost territory after the world wars too, but you don’t see them shooting rockets at their neighbors to get it back.
My point about refugees is that Iran is taking literally 0 of them, despite being a major funding and arms source for Hamas and Hezbollah. I was pointing out that Iran doesn’t give a shit about the Palestinian people, other than to use them as fodder to hurt Israel.
If two groups claim a territory at the same time, and both have lived there on and off for a few thousand years depending on the activity of dozens of wars. Who exactly has the right to it?
Which was retaliation for Iran funding and arming terrorists. Context does matter.
“Lebanese militant group”
Should be read as “Iran armed and equipped militant group that just happens to be in Lebanon”
As someone who never quite reached this level myself, I feel like it’s when you start being able to think in the second language inside your head.
I only got to the point where I had flashes of this happen for specific topics that didn’t translate well. For everything else I kept thinking in English, even if I then needed to convert it back mentally after.
