It doesn’t make it at all harder to waterproof the devices. Sony has been making them for a decade now (IP57 in 2013 on the Xperia Z), Samsung didn’t have any issues with the S10 line either. This is just a lie manufacturers tell you to sell bluetooth crap.
The engine’s name has very little to do with the tech in it, much less the quality of the game. It might well suck but it won’t be because of this.
In Europe, they tend to be out within a month of announcement, same in Asia. It’s only in the US where it’s later, and not nearly to that degree.
If it had a headphone jack, I’d be fine with that phone. That’s a critical omission, though.
10000 is not as many as you’d think. I try to keep phones for 5 years, so around 1800 days. I also listen to music on several different occasions a day, let’s say 10 because I listen to a lot of music. Couple that with daily charging, I’m already doubling your number if using audio through USB-C, not to mention the extra wear that comes from the port being in use for around 10-12 hours a day.
There’s also the group of people who easily notice it but don’t really care. Like I see that it’s different, but it’s not better to me.
I don’t know a lot about the background but this article feels super biased against one side.
