Piracy of games that are no longer being sold is piracy in name only
Say goodbye to all the Sega Classics and Mega Man Legacy Collections then.
It’s 100% legal anyway. What isn’t legal is distributing rom files of the game or BIOS files from the system.
Why is this good news exactly? Doesn’t this just mean that people who want to see content from Threads will be driven to that app instead? Why not allow Lemmy users to see Threads content without them actually having to support Meta?
It’s almost like these generational names aren’t a monolith and have been divided up arbitrarily!
