1 year agoYes, user-wise this won’t really negatively impact Reddit this is why I called it penny pinching, they weren’t losing out on huge amounts of money with the 3rd party apps. What I was mostly referring to is that moderators are frequently power users who either used 3rd party apps personally or used them because the moderator tools inside of them were way better than Reddit’s native ones.
On iOS I’m very happy with Memmy, I was on Apollo before and it feels similar design-wise.
