I’ve posted about this before but the responses didn’t quite help. I’m trying to add !stoner_rock@sh.itjust.works. on the browser on mobile, I go to communities and search for it with communities and “all” chosen. I searched for “stoner”, “stoner rock”, “stoner_rock” and “!stoner_rock@sh.itjust.works”. Nothing. It also won’t come up in Jerboa. So it seems like no one from lemmy.ml has interacted with this community before, I get that, but then how do I go about getting it added?
It can take a while for the search to find a instance/community. It’s also the case that it will show “no results found” but after 10-30 seconds it shows up.

it should navigate there even if no one on your instance has been before
That said, I’ve had the same problem, but never solved it. If it doesn’t work, I don’t know why.
