    Oh, it’s Te Waka Hourua, they love direct action. Wonder how they managed to abseil around in Te Papa.

    This perturbs me btw:

    He was “incredibly proud” of the Treaty of Waitangi “and the origins that it’s formed in forming our country”,

    What does that actually mean? It sounds like he’s describing some kind of Ouroboros.

    I hate how breaking things and disrupting people’s lives when you don’t get your own way has become the done thing.

      It’s not “the done thing” which is why it’s a protest and say, writing a letter to the news papers isn’t.

      This really isn’t a new phenomenon. New Zealand has a long history of it, too.

      In fact the Maori plowing movement at Parihaka directly influenced Mahatma Gandhi.
