Introducing the latest updates to StarEngine: The innovative suite of tools and technologies breathing life into Star Citizen and Squadron 42. --------------...
The engine is holding the entire world together really well, I mean it’s unbelievable it’s all in realtime and at that massive scale. I really liked the water physics part too. Feels really good.
However, idk if it’s just me but the materials, foliage and terrains do look bit last gen. I’m not sure if it’s just texture work or dx11 related limitations or lack of use of photogrammetry that we otherwise see in contemporary games. It’s a nitpick and of course the engine is doing stuff that we’ve never seen ever.
