It’s set to turn off at -10 or below at which point the natural gas backup kicks in. Apparently it can still work down to -20, but it’s less efficient than the gas furnace at that point.
And I’m not sure how it holds up, this will be the first winter with it!
How does it hold up on the 2 or 3 really cold days we have? Is there auxiliary electric heat?
