What would someone recommend instead of the p365? No longer buying SIG after recent news

The M&P Shield Plus is very comparable, and has a trigger dingus (it’s insane the p365 doesn’t with how light the trigger is).

Other option would be the Springfield Hellcat.

Nice, I got the OSP with a dot sight. Trigger upgrade is definitely the next move. Any suggestions? I’d like a two stage if I can find a good one.

I got the Apex trigger. It isn’t fancy, but it turned what had been a sharply stepped pull into a smooth one. Between that and the compensator, it now shoots like a full-size 9mm.

I also have a Streamlight TLR-6 mounted on my Hellcat. There are many more powerful lights, but at the ranges I expect to need it, 100 lumens is more than enough. And unlike any of the rail-mouted lights I’ve seen, it doesn’t make the Hellcat any thicker and doesn’t add as much weight.

      This.

That said, I really like my PPS. It’s wafer thin and is super comfortable to carry.

My experience, too! I have a PPS and a PPQ. The PPQ is far easier to shoot and is far more accurate. But I can’t imagine trying to CC it - it’s a sidearm. I haven’t tried a shoulder holster, but that’s about the only way I can think it’d work. I figure that’s the trade-off. Smaller will always be more comfortable for CC, but less accurate and more snappy.

It’s hard to beat Glock for $ value, plus the wealth of peripherals. They’re good, reliable choices.

I really love the European-style trigger magazine drop, though, and I’m so used to it now I’m self-limited in what I can buy.

Nice to see some pewpew tactical links, it was nice to see him do an interview with tacticool girlfriend

So much of gun culture is deeply unpleasant but pewpew tactical has never given me gross vibes which is nice. His guides also seem super helpful.

    None.

Why carry a murder weapon with you. How many enemies do you have? You’re more likely to die or accidentally commit a crime, like kill an innocent, when you carry a gun than without.
