Absolutely, but that’s a very different point to the one I was responding to. The only point I was making is that plenty of people responsibly waste money on things every day, for some people it’s the lottery, for others it’s Starbucks.
Buying a lottery ticket doesn’t instantly mean you’re bad with money.
Sure bud I totally believe you, thats why you are arguing with everyone that the lottery is good and great and smart.
I literally said in my post I knew people like you were gonna come argue about it, and I couldn’t care less. No matter how responsible you are, it’s a waste of money, idgaf if you don’t believe it. Have a nice day go do something else.
Where exactly did I argue that the lottery was good or great or smart…?
I 100% do believe it’s a waste of money. That’s why I don’t do it myself. You seem to have assumed an awful lot just because I don’t view everyone that plays the lottery as a stupid person.
Gambling is a horrible industry and it destroys lives, the world would be better without the lottery existing. I believe both of those things too, but it doesn’t make everyone who has ever gambled a moron who can’t manage their money.
Please show me where I said “everyone who has ever gambled a moron who can’t manage their money.”
I clearly said “the average” do you not understand how language works? Why would you argue in favour of it, and why do you literally lie about what I said?
I am not wasting any more time with you, you are clearing acting in bad faith.
Heres the one point I was making (not even to you, but you’ve jumped in on half the comments I made interestingly):
But an insignificant amount of money for an insignificant change of being rich isn’t a big deal either.
How much return do you get for a Starbucks? Some things are just for enjoyment and people enjoy the existence of that chance, however slim.
Not me personally, but I totally get it.
You say I don’t know how language works, but also that I’ve argued in favour of the lottery. Show me where.
Who is it that’s really lying? The only lie I can see is you claiming I’ve lied. By all means provide a quote I’ve said which is an example of me acting in bad faith or outright lying about something though.
I’m more than happy leaving it alone but equally happy to continue the discussion, you’re totally free to stop replying whenever you like :) x

The problem is if you spend an insignificant amount of money every day the total amount doesn’t stay insignificant for long.

Let me guess, you buy lottery tickets?
This happens every time the lottery is discussed lol.
Nope
I just understand that the world is mainly shades of grey instead of the black and white version most people here seem to see.

What is $1 x 100? 1,000?
Why is that relevant to people who responsibly play the lottery?
