    Its been busy and kind of bad leaning TBH.

    I’m an office worker at an after school program but at various points have been called as back up because the kids are here all day this week because of Spring Break Camp. Made getting my usual work done a tad difficult.

    Also my car died last week and now I have to go car shopping which is going to make me unexpectedly broke. But at least I have the financial cushion to handle it, I know a lot of people don’t usually.

    Went to the doctor yesterday and they said I’m on track for a high blood pressure diagnosis so now I got to reduce my sodium, caffeine, & alcohol I guess and probably take up meditation or yoga or something. Which is unfortunate because I’m a sucker for salty foods and I legit need coffee. I don;t mind getting more exercise though I’ve been meaning to start doing push ups in my office anyway.

    I also don’t think I’m going to be able to get myself to chill because I question to effectiveness meditation vs work, my love life, my financials, and the state of my country which are all currently in turbulence. To much shit to handle all at once.

    One minor bright spot is this weekend I’m opening an account with a Credit Union as they’re adding my organization to their list of Select Employer Groups and I figure considering how fucked our economy is going to get, having my money in multiple places probably couldn’t hurt. And Credit Unions are generally an improvement on banks.

    As a danish guy I could do without Trump’s threats to take over Greenland. Besides from that, the weather is great over here and I’m probably going to the beach later.

    Just had a root canal with an asshole dentist, then had my teeth prodded sharply without warning because they want a deep cleaning, which my insurance will deny, they’ve denied that three times already, but they want that before they’ll cap my tooth so I’m just living here with the filing which seems bad.

    I’m so tired

    I also planted a room of marzano tomatoes indoors so that’s good, I guess. And the kitten is calming down a smidge.

    I’m still very tired

      I know life is tiring but just in case you are also physically tired from lack of sleep. I recommend taking 5 mg of melatonin, if you have 8 hours of sleep available, for a few days.

      There are times when I don’t sleep well, tossing turning etc, and melatonin every so often helps me catch up on a good night’s sleep. I’ll wake up feeling a lot better.

      It won’t solve your life problems but it will help alleviate the unwanted feelings from not sleepy well.

        Oh no no. I can sleep constantly. I just don’t get any refreshment from it, waking up in pain. Even with sleep aids, wake up poorly. A lot is from overheating though. If I could just make the room like…50F,maybeI’d sleep well XD

    I’m feeling really good! 😃 Got a lot to look forward to this year since I’ve got my mind set on travelling the world and I’ll be getting my passport. I’ve been watching so many airport vids lately to try and mentally prep myself since I haven’t flown in a while and these are all gonna be long-haul flights! Also gonna sign up for more adventure related activities like gliding, SCUBA diving, and more!

    I’ve been sketching for a new drawing, and I have a feeling it’s going to be really detailed already! I feel like I haven’t drawn super detailed in a while, so this is a long time coming!

    Right now though, I’m chowing down on dinner! 😋

      Me too. I think I have Covid, it’s gave me a never ending cough. Almost gone now though

      I thought I’d finally get to start going to the gym regularly again after getting sick constantly for a couple months but no, a classmate was coughing the whole week and now I’m getting a sore throat which has always been an indication of an incoming cold for me.

      So tea for me, too! Fucking hell… At least it’s sunny and I’ve got Twin Peaks to watch, perfect mood for fever dreams 🟥🫰☕ 🟥

        I really feel that. It’s so fucking hard to get going and get going regularly. Was running at least once weekly no matter the weather. A couple of weeks getting sick and this and that and it’s like starting from scratch

        I hope you feel better soon. Funny coincidence. I bought some gym passes Friday. I was too tired to go Saturday or Sunday. Then bam. Sore throat and cough on Monday.

        I think I’ll go make a cup of chamomile and lavender tea. What kind of tea are you drinking?

          I’m not much of a tea drinker except when I’m sick, but I do like this one rooibos with chamomile and strawberry. I also like a tea with a lemony taste, not that I taste much when I’m sick…
